Have you ever noticed that in Canadian news and information media, men’s voices still outnumber women’s more than 2 to 1? How can we have a balanced understanding of the world around us if one gender is offering the majority of perspectives?  Why aren’t women being quoted as much as their male counterparts?

Shari Graydon of Informed Opinions is working to bridge the gap by training women to step forward and have their voices heard. Shari will by joining us by webinar on July 7th to provide a workshop designed to help women share their insights through interviews, commentary and other media outlets. It is time to amplify women’s voices!

Shari Graydon is an award winning author, advocate and speaker focused on the portrayal and representation of women in the media and the importance of diverse perspectives to democracy.
